Writing about myself is so difficult…NOT!
Lamu is one of the most exotic and romantic luxurious island getaways off the Swahili coast of East Africa in Kenya. Tamu simply means sweet in Swahili. Combined, it roughly translates to the sweet Island of Lamu… like those other famous catch phrases synonymous to other world cities such as; I love NY or, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas etc. Born A MAN and raised on another destination island off the coast of Kenya close to Lamu called Mombasa, I have always been very familiar with the phrase Lamu tamu.
The blog is loosely going to be a reflection of who I am and the things that I love. A small presentation of a world view through the filter of my eyes. It should be interesting since I grew up not impoverished in Africa, went to college in America and currently living a lifestyle that’s very alternative in Canada.
I believe that we are all citizens of the world and a member of one human family, my ideal world is a world without borders.
