Back To Business
Cupcake business that is! I have been hitting the running track pretty hard lately to get myself into summer body form. So much so that I could afford to treat myself to some cupcakes!
This was at The Wedding Cake Shoppe in Toronto and I had the Oreo/Coockies n Cream thingy flavor.
Now just to let you know, anytime I eat anything Oreo or cookies and cream flavored, I find that I get very thirsty afterwords so I just stay away. I am being serious, even if I have coockies and cream icecream, I get really thirsty, I don’t know what it is. However, when I had that cupcake, I didn’t get the thirsty feeling at all which was a first!

Next time I get a cookies and cream craving, I know exactly what to get!
Burger Bar Crescent
Today I went to this place called Burger Bar Cresent in Montreal. They make their burgers with a lot of passion and I liked it a lot.

I had the $100 burger. It doesn't really cost that much but thats what they call it on the menu. It does taste like it though.

The Hundred Dollar Burger is made with some type of beef, foie gras, sauteed mushrooms, some other stuff that I forget and it comes with french fries and onion rings.
I would go again.

Last Night
I helped organize a special evening for a very special person in my life and it was magical!

Thank you to The Wedding Cake Shoppe for taking my last minute custom order and created this whimsical garden for me.

The Wedding Cake Shoppe were also responsible for creating this edible extravaganza for my circus themed birthday party 3 years ago.

Last Night
It was wild, crazy and fun! I looked at my camera this morning and deleted half of the pictures. You only get to see the ones below.
Here is a quick video, the view from my table.

The Four Seasons Restaurant New York
Back at my favorite restaurant in the whole world and it is not hard to see why The Four Seasons Restaurant New York gets that honor. I had a great time the first time I ate there and the second time was even more memorable. Lunch yesterday solidified its reputation because they are consistent!
I had the owner order for me which was good because I got to try out dishes that I would usually not order on my own.
Check it out!

Cotton candy with ice-cream at the bottom complimentary of the restaurant, it wasn't even my birthday!

Flowerless chocolate cake, if you order this, be sure to request it with a side of ice-cream... which is how I like it and how I order it.

Molly’s Cupcakes; New York.
For the last couple of weeks, I have been checking out this cupcake shop called Molly’s Cupcakes. I like to say “couple of weeks” so as to throw you off with the number of cupcakes I have been eating at any given time. Ravenous!
Anyway, after trying out a few of Molly’s cupcakes, below are my favorite.

The Peach Cobbler (profile). This was the cupcake that got them crowned the season finale winners of Cupcake Wars.

The Crème Brûlée. This one depends on your preference. I only say that because a friend of mine was not a fan but I enjoyed it.

Kesté Pizzeria; New York.
If you find yourself in Manhattan, YOU MUST go check out Kesté Pizzeria. This is officially my selection for THE BEST pizzeria in the world.
Imagine having the most amazing pizza ever on an Indian style naan bread, that’s how I would describe it.
I also found out that I have actually been to Kesté pizzeria before, as in way before I had the blog. So after some digging, I found the picture below.

Momofuku; New York
Soon to open at the Shangri-La in Toronto, I would describe Momofuku as a trendy Japanese tapas/noodle restaurant with a lot of buzz.

This is a dish with pork, I think they called it the Pork Sliders or something. It was very filling. It's like a sandwich.
Would I go back to Momofuku? Probably not, or maybe if I had a few things on the menu to figure out what I really like. Come to think of it, I don’t think I looked at the menu and was going purely on recommendations. Maybe I will give them 1 last try when I get back to Toronto.

Sweet Revenge; New York
My friend insisted that I check out the cupcakes at Sweet Revenge. A charming little store that pairs up cupcakes and wines, they also have teas and beer. Check it out.

With my hot friend from Ghana outside Sweet Revenge just before we stepped inside. Here I am thinking, "I better like these cupcakes girl!".

While walking off the cupcakes later that evening, we stumbled upon some Italians... are they following me? lol.
Sweet Revenge cupcakes to me seem more like muffins with cupcake toppings, not your traditional cupcake… not a huge fan of them personally. I would give them 10/10 for the ambiance (pretty cool for a cupcake shop) and maybe 5/10 for taste.
